I wanted to take a moment to let all who read this that we can't be any happier with master bathroom remodel we had done by Genuine Home Builders. Everyone who came out to work on the various stages from demo to final punch list were awesome. All of them were courteous and made the experience all that much better. From the beginning scope of work to the final cleaning, Kim and her crew were available every day to answer our calls, help with our decisions, and understand our concerns. One of our initial concerns was the safety of our children while living in the construction zone but that was put to rest as their crew buttoned up every loose end and added secure temporary walls to make sure our kids were safe at the end of every day. GHB finished our addition before schedule which is never heard of these days. The subcontractors and contractors were professional and did quality work in the time frames we were given. "My background is in construction but in the UK and mainly industrial parks so when I searched for a building company to construct a new house for me in Naples I was obviously going to be quite a demanding client as I had some knowledge on their skill.

The husband and wife team of Kim and Steve at Genuine builders far exceeded my expectations and from beginning to end there wasn’t a single issue with the build of my now beautiful new home.

Kim was the first point of contact and worked with me in designing the house and getting the architect on board with our thoughts, her experience and ideas in the end took over from mine and I literally handed everything over to her including final fit out, color choices etc… she got me right from the beginning and fully delivered.

Kim is the licensed contractor and sets the build up with the ordering and scheduling of materials and by what I see then hands over to Steve who runs the on-site works and scheduling. There was not one day when I wasn’t kept in the picture of exactly what was happening on site and bearing in mind a build obviously causes short term disruption to a neighborhood my neighbors ended up becoming friends with Steve and also his workers and trades who couldn’t do more to make things as simple.

The build came in two weeks ahead of schedule and there was nothing for them to look at on my punch list.

I not only wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Genuine builders but am now searching for another lot to build another home with them.

"We contracted Genuine Home Builders to do a complete refurbishment and remodel of our first floor condominium following it flooding as a result of Hurricane Ian. This included new flooring, cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, backsplash, counter tops, changing walls and ceilings, painting, etc. 

Both Kim, the owner, and Lee, the on-site supervisor were available at all times to address any questions and concerns we had. 

After agreeing to the initial estimate, we received an invoice at regular intervals detailing work performed and expenses. These invoices have a $200 accounting fee for each one but I thought it was good value as I could review the charges, compare the costs to estimates and get an understanding of progress towards the total budget. 

We did go directly to purchase appliances and bathroom vanities will the vanities being installed by GHB. 

The work as completed within our timeline, slightly under budget, and it is quality work. We are very satisfied with the results.
